Ray Tabaczka

Ray Tabaczka (1926-2011) of Ludington, Michigan spent much of his life demonstrating his love of the concertina and its music. He was inducted into the Michigan Polka Hall of Fame in 1975.

Ray was an excellent teacher and known for making his students play runs on their left hand. He was the originator of the Northwest Concertina Club and his idea was to teach everyone in the club how to play correctly. He had a unique passion for the concertina.
