John Bondowski
Hall of Fame – 1986
John M. Bondowski (1899-1978) of Oak Creek, Wisconsin taught concertina for 40 years and credited for many of them becoming excellent concertinists. He was a regular on the radio and the leader of his band.
John was responsible for forming the Concertina Circle in Racine, Wisconsin.
He sold concertinas at the Polonia Music store in Milwaukee.
John is the father of Lester Bondowski, also a Hall of Fame member.
