Harry Sonnentag

Harry A. Sonnentag (1911-1993) of Marathon, Wisconsin was a professional concertinist, teacher and bandleader.

He began his musical career at the age of fifteen. In 1934, he started the Silver Rhythms band and a few years later joined the Tom Letzer Cardinals, a six piece band. He also played with the Music Masters and the Freddie Gaulke Band for many years.

Many former students attest that he was a great teacher and musician.

Harry also distributed and promoted the concertina in every way and was active in music for over 65 years. He wrote two compositions of note.
