Harold (Zimmy) Zimmerman

Harold Zimmerman (1903–1999) “Zimmy” was born in South Bend, Indiana and lived in Union, Michigan. Zimmy was the first president of the World Concertina Congress.
In 1975, under Zimmy’s direction, the World Concertina Congress Hall of Fame was established.
He loved the concertina, spent his lifetime selling, fixing, playing, and promoting the concertina.
Zimmy remained the WCC President until his death in 1999 and was the Master of Ceremonies at the first 22 Hall of Fame Award presentations.
