Dick Rodgers

Dick Rodgers (Rodziczak) (1927-2004) of Pulaski, Wisconsin was a well-known concertina player and band leader for over 40 years. He was a musician and TV show personality, and was commonly known as Wisconsin’s Polka King.

The Dick Rodgers Show was broadcast on TV and radio for a total of 23 years. Rodgers was named to the International Polka Hall of Fame and the Wisconsin Polka Hall of Fame and was named Orchestra Leader of the Year in 1967 by the Wisconsin Orchestra Leaders Association.

Dick has dozens of recordings to his credit and is credited with organizing the Wisconsin Orchestra Leaders Association.
