Chuck Thies

Charles (Chuck) Thies (1932-2019) of Muskegon, Michigan was born in Big Lake, Minnesota. In 1973 he bought his first concertina and ten years later he joined the Grand Rapids Old Time Concertina Club. He was elected Vice President of the club in 1990. He played with the club for more than 20 years in Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
