Hall of Fame – 1978
Charlie Blim (1893-1955) was an exceptional concertina musician who had many fans and followers. He may have been the first to record the concertina with Louis Solar in 1911, with the Melody of German Songs No. 1 and No. 2 on the Columbia Graphaphone Magic Notes label.
He also recorded with Rudy Patek. These records sold-out everywhere it was sold. He also recorded on the OKeh and Odeon Record labels.
