Archie Maxim (1930-2014) of Lowell, Michigan was a professional concertina player and vocalist. Archie was a popular entertainer and in high demand. He promoted the concertina as a soloist and while on stage with his band. He ran the concertina parties in Grand Rapids, Michigan for many years.
Archie is a member of the Northwest Concertina Club, Midwest Concertina Club, the Alpine Village Concertina Club in Buffalo, The Grand Rapids Olde Tyme Concertina Club and the World Concertina Congress.
Mr. Maxim donated many hours of his talents to non-profit organizations.
