CONCERTINA INSTRUCTION BOOKS
ConcertinaMusic.com has collected several different vintage, self-teaching books that are great for helping beginners learn how to correctly play the chemnitzer concertina and novice musicians improve their playing skills. These instruction books have either an expired copyright or no valid copyright owner to be found, and are offered here under a Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License.
Visitors are welcome to download a high-quality, portable document format (PDF) version of these instruction books. ConcertinaMusic.com welcomes free-will donations in exchange for the downloaded files. Donations help offset costs to support this website, including publication of the free sheet music library. The instruction books are also offered to the concertina community at no cost in support of the USCA vision.
WOLF’S CONCERTINA COURSE
Wolf’s Concertina Course was published by the M. M. Cole Publishing Company in 1957. This book contains nearly 50 pages of instruction that is intended for the beginner musician, with several pages dedicated to music fundamentals and an introduction to the chemnitzer concertina. The fingering exercises, scales, and easy-to-play songs may also provide helpful practice for the novice musician as well.
