Vernon Miller

Vernon Miller (1938-1997) of Hartford Wisconsin played in the Push-N-Pull band. He played several genres, including old time Dutchman, modern, and Polka music. Vern was a member of the United Orchestra Leaders and the Wisconsin Polka Boosters. His ability as a concertina player elevated the concertina as a musical instrument.

In 1959, Vern had an accident that severely injured his hand. He thought he would never play again but with the help of his doctors and hard work, he came back to finish his career.
