Ray Konkol

Raynold (Ray) Konkol of Stevens Point, Wisconsin has performed for more than 55 years. He has been a bandleader for 35 years and recorded 16 albums and six 45s. Ray would often encourage young concertina players perform on stage with him.
Ray has played in Switzerland, Austria, France, and Italy, and he has also appeared in Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Texas, and Wisconsin. He always promoted the concertina at parades, music festivals, and on radio and TV shows.
