Marvin Spradau

Marvin Spradau of Mayville, Wisconsin (1927-2009) played the piano accordion until he was 31. He took concertina lessons in Hustisford, Wisconsin from Ervin DeWitz and he accomplished his childhood dream of learning to play the concertina. Marvin then taught some of his own students.

In 1978, Marv performed in Europe and he played with the Syl Groeschl Band for many years. He recorded 10 albums with them and did most of the arranging for the band.
