Joseph Ushman

Joseph F. Ushman (1912-1980) of Springfield, Illinois was a concertina promoter, band leader, and musician. He was very active in and around Springfield and had a very enthusiastic fan base in Central Illinois.
When not involved in band work, Joe traveled to concertina events in other states.
His children upheld their father’s love of music. His son Charles took over the lead of the Ushman Polka Band playing piano and accordion.
