Jerry Kramarczyk

Jerome R. (Jerry) Kramarczyk (1937-2015) was a concertina teacher, composer and virtuoso. He was a founding member of the Bake House Players in Hebron, Illinois and a member of the River Bend Players.

He was a bona fide historian of the instrument. Jerry remembered when he was a young boy, he would watch the concertina players’ fingers move across the buttons and he watched the concertinas movement. Jerry believed that his highest accomplishment in life was to play the concertina.
