Irvin Kwas (1918-1990) of Chicago, Illinois played the concertina for 62 years, 50 of those years professionally. For 30 years he had his own orchestra and contributed much time and energy to promoting the concertina and its music.
Irv was a salesman at Polonia Music House for 10 years selling concertinas.
