Frank Waksmonski

Frank Waksmonski (1927-2018) of Hatley, Wisconsin has been playing and promoting the concertina for over 60 years. Frank owned the Hatley Hotel Bar & Dance Hall and promoted Sunday afternoon dances and concertina festivals. He was a member of the Freddy Gaulke’s “Melody Kings”, a seven-piece band from 1946 to 1959.
Frank featured the Good Timers Concertina Club numerous times at his dance hall. During his performing career, he recorded several times and taught two students.
