Frank Berendt Sr. of Chicago, Illinois dedicated over 70 years to the concertina. He was the leader of the Village Country Musicians, a Chicago based Old World Polish band. He arranged hundreds of songs and loved to share them with his fellow musicians.
Frank recorded several albums and appeared on radio and television showsin the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s. He was also known for his talent with German and Russian music.
