Dan Niemczyk

Dominic (Dan) Niemczyk (1925-2018) of Brookfield, Wisconsin bought his first concertina at the age of 15 for fifty dollars. After 16 lessons, he was playing so well that his mother bought him a brand new one.

Dan performed at weddings and family parties, often taking extra time to demonstrate the instrument to children. He enjoyed playing, teaching, and promoting the concertina.
