Charles Matulnik
Hall of Fame – 1995
Charles S. Matulnik (1918-1994) of Westmont, Illinois played the concertina, loved the concertina, wrote music for the concertina, and attended many concertina events, but most knew him as a saxophonist and music composer.
Matulniks’ many musical compositions are copyrighted and consisted mainly of polkas and waltzes. A partial list of his songs includes Shining Star Polka, Golden Sax Polka, Little Honey Waltz, Starlight Eyes Waltz, and the Red Dress Waltz. There are far too many to list them all.
